Welcome to Evangeline’s in-studio newborn session in Berwick, Louisiana.
Evangeline is the daughter of Sidney and Michael. Sidney and Michael are new to the area and was looking for a photographer. My amazing vet, Dr. Abby, gave them my name, and I couldn’t be more greatful.
Sidney and Michael both come in the studio for their design consult. They were looking for greens and purples to match her nursery. For the package they wanted, they went with the wrapped shot package and a family add on. The wrapped session included 2 wrapped setups, which I will post photos below. For their family photos we decided on everyone in white and Eva have a pop of color in her bow. Sidney and Michael wanted something neutral to be able to hang in their home.
Their session was amazing! Eva was such a great little model and the session was a breeze. For the family photos we went with neutral colors, so that Sidney and Michael could hang the family portraits in their new home.
The reveal session was about 2 weeks after the session. Sidney and Michael both came to view the slide show and pick out which photos and products they wanted. Everyone was emotional! The three of us went through each photo and ended up deciding on a standard trio and 6 digital images with the matching 8x10 mounted prints.
Evangeline was such a joy to photograph and her parents were awesome to work with!
What’s a wrapped session?
Wrapped sessions are simply what they sound like, the baby will be wrapped up the whole session. This sessions are typically quick ones because the baby loves to be wrapped up. If you notice some of the bucket photos, it doesn’t look like Eva is wrapped up, but she was sleeping so hard I was able to get the ones with her hands under her chin.
Fun Facts:
The white blanket in the family portraits was made by Evangeline’s grandmother. She says “every baby needs a white blanket”
Not all wrapped sessions get the hands-under-chin photo in the bucket. Eva was sleeping so well we were able to get it.
The first image is the trio that they purchased, second image is one of the six mounted prints, third and fourth image is me going deliver the photos to Sidney and Michael. Yes, I deliver your images if you live in town!
